Important message from the IUSD Governing Board and Mr. Tom Torlakson, State Superintendent of Public Instruction

Since Dr. Vincent Matthews took over as the State Administrator in October of 2015, parents, staff, faculty and the governance team of Inglewood Unified School District have worked diligently to improve outcomes for Inglewood students. We’ve strengthened our financial and human resource systems, improved our governance processes and communications, launched efforts to clean and modernize our facilities, increased our community partnerships and provided a long overdue raise for all teachers and classified staff.
